I’m Julian, a Machine Learning Engineer at H2O.ai. I’m originally Australian and now based in New York City, where I build practical AI systems: open-source developer tooling, LLM applications, and agentic workflows that ship to real users.

My work spans engineering and research, from launching an open-source AI code assistant to applying machine learning to climate-adaptation policy. I like turning ambitious ideas into production-grade software that people actually use.
